I loved the central location and the amazing design elements throughout the hotel really made it stand out.
The lift broke down a couple of times but the staff organised someone to bring our suitcases down for us - and we got some free wine!

One of the things I found most interesting about the hotel is the Danish design. The rooms are decorated with beautiful Danish designer furniture, and I loved that every room is different and has its own character. The hotel also features a wonderful collection of famous Danish designer chairs, which adds a very special touch.
Breakfast can be booked in advance and costs approximately €25 per person. I also really appreciated the complimentary coffee available to guests at all times, as well as the water provided in the lobby. These small details made the stay feel very welcoming and thoughtful.
Overall, I liked everything about my experience. The atmosphere, the design, the attention to detail and the hospitality all made my stay very enjoyable.
Thank you, Alexandra Hotel, for the wonderful hospitality. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was fantastic.
There is a some loud noises between 3- 4am every day we were there. Sounded like deliveries - loud banging and what squeaky and squealing elevator. Staff were pleasant enough but not super helpful when the noise matter was brought to their attention- particularly the young, heavier set women who worked the mornings. The room resembled a dorm room and the shower was moldy.

Central location, nice and friendly staff, good breakfast.
I don’t understand this designer’s of today. It looks like they never traveled anywhere. The whole room did not have any wardrobe nor any drovers to store our staff. There were a couple of hangers available but for staying a couple of days our room always looked like a mess.

Nothing related to hotel. The restaurant next store was very nice but for a double expresso and one croissant, I found 140 DKK / 14 euros very pricy compared to full breakfast at 21 euros

Well located for visiting Copenhagen's historic center and taking public transportation/trains to explore farther afield. Surprisingly quiet considering the location in a bustling neighborhood. An afternoon glass of wine in the retro lobby was a nice cap to the day. Enjoyed the retro design of our Sixties room.
Although generally clean, there were vestiges of black mold around the base of the shower. The delicious breakfast at the coffee shop next door was too pricey for us to enjoy every day.

The staff
The first room had the wc leaking, the shower had was blocked, the shower gel was not working. The second room the bed was half between the walls, there was no central light next to the bed, the shower head was blocked, there was no baggage rack to hold the luggage and there was no wardrobe. The wall next to the bed was dirty.This was supposed to be a 4 stars, superior room.

Hotel Alexandra is a boutique-y hotel largely furnished with Danish furniture in the classic 1950s style. That alone would make it worth a visit, but the location (less than 10 mins walk from the central train station, and around the block from Tivoli Gardens) and the excellent staff make it truly memorable.
While it seems silly to say it's unimprovable, I honestly can't think of a thing that might have made our stay more enjoyable.
