Wonderful
It was an exotic interesting room. Not at all run of the mill. It was charming and playful and comfortable with an en suite tub.
The coffee could have been a little stronger but really, overall, it was a delight.

The location downtown Wismar, short walking distance to the city centre. Nice garden that was used to serve breakfast.
Only 4 parking spaces at the hotel for extra money, free parking available a quarter mile away. Very steep staircase to the upper floors. Cheap bed linen (plastic style) and mattress. Hotel is very old and needs a major overhaul. Some guests might call it romantic. Cracks in walls and stairs that are extremely out of level are signs that a building should be renovated.

An amazing experience in a historic building, with extraordinary rooms, and perfectly located for a stay in the center of Wismar. Very nice and individual breakfast selection. Friendly and personal staff!
No problem for us, but one should be prepared for everything that comes with a stay in a historic building, e.g., stairs, or, as in our room directly under the roof, beds that one could not reach in a upright position.

Room on the ground floor was excellent those used to modern hotel chains might disagree I found it wonderful; the location is great in easy walking distance of the harbour and the city centre. As I am disabled onsite parking was a welcome bonus.

Very close to the harbour and the old town. Good breakfast provided to table, not buffet. Quiet and a bit quirky.
Room was a little bit too dark, primarily due to the decor.
