The host was very friendly, dinner was excellent and wine sellection was very good. The apartment was also very good, spacious, simple, clean, quiet. Beds were good. Shower water also good. It was nice we had a kitchen and that it was not noisy. I really liked the place.
There was in the mornig bit smell from breakfast in the hallway. Im not sure if it was from people cooking or from the restaurant. So ventilation could be better. But overal very happy with this place and will come back again.

The spa/sauna area was world class and the ladies that worked there were lovely. The reception staff were excellent too. On checking out, I was catching a bus to the station, but the buses were on strike. So the lovely grounds man of the Hotel drove me 30 kms to the next train station so I could catch my train! Now that is superb service. Thank you so much.
The breakfast was not so great for a vegetarian and free range egg eater :) The veggies that were offered at breakfast weren't that fresh, nor was the fruit. As an English speaker it was a little challenging to understand the fine details of when/how/what in regards to the dinner arrangements... it always seemed so complicated... The waiting staff could be a little more genuine and friendly in my view. They seemed rushed and didn't really enjoy doing what they do. The dinner meals were of average quality and I feel these could be improved.

- staff very friendly (they also do a musical performance)
- super facilities spa and pool (heated outdoor), games room, gym, kids room)
- apartment very nice - well furnished and spacious
- most of the guests and all the staff are Dutch, which is strange at first but nice
- dinner and show was nice ! (Was in Dutch but we enjoyed)
- Location very convenient for Winterberg, ski slopes and walking, close to fort fun park.
