The location was quiet. The staff is super friendly. The facility was spotless. Cosy cafe to spend the evening and enjoy a drink. Excellent meal was served in the evening.
The joined bathroom was not heated when I arrived.

Energetic, friendly host, bright colors, nice garden, good dinner and breakfast. Great conversation from host about cycle travels. Locked storage shed to park our bicycles for the night.

Nice location with friendly owners. Nice garden and terrace. Furthermore the shared bathroom is really clean. Hotel rooms and corresponding comfortless are average. However, overall good value for money. Decent, but simple breakfast.

Very nice place! Enthusiastic and friendly staff, simple but nice comfortable room, beautiful natural surroundings, proximity to Winterberg and a lake. The shared bathroom is very spacious and sparkling clean, the separate toilet downstairs as well. We knew that the facilities were shared and it was no problem whatsoever. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and during the nice sunny weather was served outside in the terrace (which, by the way, is a great place to have a drink!), but the indoors dining room also seemed lovely. All in all, the bed-and-breakfast is not a fancy place but is a great value for money, very clean and with great staff.

The hosts are very very friendly. I've visited the place just after Corona lockdown. They're doing their best to get business on the tracks again.
The pillows were very flat. One must fold them double for some head support. Maybe new pillows, made of memory foam is an option?
