The hotel is perfectly located, 15 min walk from the train station, next to the beach and the Sylt Welle. The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, with a broad selection of good quality food. Plus, they can prepare eggs on demand with your favourite ingredients. The swimming pool was great, and the lounge looked amazing. Unfortunately, we had no time to try the sauna. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay that I would not hesitate to recommend. Bonus: they have a deal with Microlino, and we could rent one for free to explore the island. It was so funny, highly recommended!
It was not important, but the window didn't close perfectly, and we could hear some cold wind coming through.

You can’t get any closer to the Sylt boardwalk. Our room had balcony with the beach basket chair and was on the dune/beach side. The hotel provides a paid parking space and the 5th floor has an indoor pool and lovely area to look at beach when weather makes it uncomfortable to be on the beach.
Bed had a hard mattress.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. It was quiet and the location is ideal.
No large mirror in the room. Although the hotel is nice, it was way too expensive for what you get.

The place has its vibe, style and atmosphere, located right on beachfront, with comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Just 5 min walk from the city center with shops and cafés. Staff friendly and helpful. Joy and pleasure to stay.

Whenever I come back to Sylt for the Petro Surf Festival I like to stay at the Wyn. Strandhotel Sylt. There are better and more luxurious hotels on the island but this one tick all the boxes also when you are traveling with a slightly smaller budget. It's a great compromise, on the seafront bang in the center of Westerland.
The only thing is - if your room is facing the parking lot and not the sea it is not a great view... so make sure to book anything facing west.

Super breakfast and amazing roof top bar with incredible view. Unfortunately had no time to use the spa, but it looked really cool - Weill definitely give it a try next time :-)
