Wonderful
I had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel is located in the city centre — only about a 5-minute walk to the main area — so it’s close to everything.
The breakfast was very tasty, with nice variety of foods.
The only small confusion I had was with the parking information. I initially understood that only electric cars needed to reserve a parking space in advance, but in fact, all cars need to. Nevertheless, the lady at the reception was very nice and managed to arrange a parking place for me even without a prior reservation. Having that said, if you’re traveling by car, make sure to announce it ahead of time.
Overall, a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel with friendly staff — I’d happily stay here again.

Wonderful
Great place, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The host was very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near the old town and the castle. Would love to come back!

Very Good
Superb breakfast, very friendly staff, clean rooms, free sauna, very good location (very close to main street, Marktplatz and the castle). No noise. Very warm rooms. Also, a cot was prepared beforehand, free of charge.
* Maybe a vanity set could be provided.
* When we visited, the hotel cafe/bar was not working.
* It is not barrier-free.

Disappointing
Helpful man at the reception. It was really close to the center.
The last night I found blood stains in my sheets. So I felt really dirty and I barely slept. I told this to the man at the reception and he didn’t believe that it was their fault. He said it is no problem. I was confused, for me it was a problem!! I didn’t want to make a scene and I felt uncomfortable so I left.

Wonderful
The location was perfect and well within walking distance of the town.
The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the castle from my window.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing and filled you up for the day
Small issue but I would have liked to have seen a small bar in the hotel

Breakfast is not served until 0800 which is too late for business travellers.
The town seems to close down after 7pm. Very few places to eat
Hotel carpark is very small and good enough for maybe four/five vehicles. A public (unmanned) outdoor car park is available within 500m. There is a flat fee of 5 euro after 6pm. Fairly well-used and safe enough.
There is an Italian restaurant opposite the hotel which is very good and reasonably priced.
Earlier opening for breakfast.

Rooms were so clean . Nice furniture. Washroom is also clean. I really loved to stay at the hotel. Breakfast was really good.

Very Good
The rooms had a good size and the bathroom was modern and clean. The building is very old, has a beautiful facade and is very close to the centre. The breakfast was a plentiful buffet that never run low and was very tasty.
The inside of the building is not quite as beautiful as the outside and in parts a bit tired looking. Because of the weather we kept the window open and the road outside was surprisingly busy for such a small town.

This is a great B&B in the center of Wernigerode, well kept and clean.
The window view to the castle was a nice "bonus".

Exceptional
The single room was relatively spacious with a little table and a little armchair available too. The castle view was just stunning and that was my favourite feature! The location is convenient, but not too central therefore quieter than other hotels. I loved the smell of sage in the hallway. WiFi signal really good.
Everything was just great!
