A 5 mins walk from railway stn and steam railway and 5 mins walk to town centre. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Nice room with a comfy bed and a good spa area downstairs with a hot sauna and steam room and a fab jacuzzi to relax in after a long days walking

The lobby and rooms were very clean. The restaurant offers a nice and varied selection for breakfast and dinner. There is also a bar attached to the lobby that is very popular at night. The staff was very nice - I was traveling for work and they called taxis for us in the morning, and when I realized I forgot to ask for an invoice several days later, the staff scanned the invoice and emailed me immediately after I called them for help. Really appreciate that!

All facilities and all rooms were very clean, tidy and just like new. Very well managed hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, with a huge buffet and even lactose-free products.
It should be made sure that there are always enough towels in the spa area.

Night party in the restaurant (or nearby). That's why I couldn't sleep with the open windows. Ventilation doesn't work.

Location
The hotel is basically receiving people from tours. So there is no attention to other type of guests. Reception staff really welcoming so it set a good tone. However, staff at other facilities were rude. They did not know how to meet necessities of guest that were not tour people.

Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast/dining room, with good choice of breakfast items. Good location, within easy walking distance of both railway station and town centre.
