The apartment was big and had everything necessary for a long stay. The hotel is located in a calm area. You can reach both city center and the castle on foot. By check-in we received two tickets which allowed us to take buses in the whole Harz region.

Nice traditional building next to the castle.
The room was spacious and provided coffee and tea. The shower was tiny, no issue with me though, but it's definitely not for overweight people.
Breakfast was good; had quite a variety of stuff to choose from, and lots of options for tea lovers. The serving hall was BEAUTIFUL, giving the notion that breakfast is served inside the castle.
A bit far from the centre and even further from the train station.

Breakfast was ok but the bread rolls from the bakery would have been nicer. The ones we had seemed to be the “ bake at home” ones…
Also to have a person at the reception all the tome would be better than just for 2 hrs in the morning and afternoon.

Nice hotel with a private parking and a beautiful view on the castle. Nice and polite service people.
The most uncomfortable bed i slept in years :(( The breakfast was also kind of disappointing, no vegan options, no lactose-free milk, they don’t feel in the dishes, so if you come after 10 ( the breakfast is till 11) be ready to eat whatever left.

Big parking. Beautiful building. Electric kettle in the room.
There is a noisy road next to the hotel. There were no vegetables for breakfast, like at least sliced tomato or cucumber. There is no coffee machine in the dining room, and the hotel offers only instant coffee in a thermos. The automatic check-in device did not work. There was a nest of wasps next to our room window. Tight shower cabin. The lift stops only on every other floor.

It's on the edge of town so it's quiet and easy to get to with parking on site. The room is comfortable.
