Great appartment in a lovely little town, with views and access to the main street where you can dine and shop, within walking distance to the castle and hiking trails. Friendly and professional staff. The radio in the bathroom was a nice addition.

The city of Wernigerode was exceptional
The rooms are very different it was a dark and closed of apartment we ended up in. But I saw some of the other apartments and they were way nicer so you need to request one of the good ones.

Wonderful
Old town atmosphere, location, great breakfast, friendly staff, great idea of welcoming beer in cooler.
I’m used to thicker pillows the bed. TV was not very easy to use. Sometimes hard to communicate (only German)for English speaking guests.
These were minor issues, I truly believe this hotel is one of the best around.

Wonderful
Location was central and perfect. Parked right outside apartment. Room was large and very attractive. Great view of Castle overlooking the town. Breakfast was simple but perfectly fine and plentiful.

Overall it was a great place with nice staff. Breakfast buffet had lots of good choices. Room was spacious, and with a great bathroom/shower. The complimentary pilsners in the fridge were a really nice touch. They also provide a lot of dishes in case you wish to prepare your own meals. Coffee maker in room.
I suppose one thing could have been better. Cleaning staff tended to assume that I was an early riser, when in fact I'm a very late person. Good thing is that they provide you with a "Do-not-disturb" sign for the door. But really, none of this is actually a big deal.

In the middle of the center of the town. We had an appartement facing the town street, but no noise from outside.
Spacious: bedroom, livingroom, extra bedroom, complete kitchen and bathroom.
Finding the parking was a little bit hard. Tip: call the reception and follow instruction

The breakfast staff were really kind to serve my friend gluten free bread every morning. The gluten free bread arrived at our table within 10 seconds of our arrival. Very impressive!

Breakfast excellent and staff Location to midi station as we were on Eurostar.
Noise from traffic and people in street. Unable to work shower satisfactorily. Unable to understand working television.

Location fantastic (but very hard to initially locate in car because of one way system). Breakfast lovely. View from room window wonderful
A great many stairs to climb to the room. Parking was a little tricky but nice and secure.

In spite of it being very central, it was still quiet. The apartment was roomy and not cramped and stylishly decorated. We had a balcony which was lovely for the evenings. The sauna area was lovely. Parking was good but limited when more guests arrived. Breakfast was sufficient with enough variety. shopping and restaurants were all close by.
The freezer compartment in the fridge had been screwed closed. This was a big problem for us as we needed ice for our evening drink. When bathroom plug was closed it was very difficult to open using the plunger. No other complaints
