Wonderful
The Hotel is well situated in the centre of Wernigerode. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
There is almost nothing to criticise except it would have been nice to have had coffee in the room.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly, room was clean. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was reasonable, with a nice terrace with a view of the Schloss. Location was good, midway between station and town centre. Good value for money.
Bed was too firm for our taste. There were a lot of stairs - up and down - between reception and our room. Difficult for the elderly and infirm so, if this is you, ask for an accessible room.

Great location, lovely breakfast and helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Wernigerode is another picture postcard beautiful town, a great place to visit and the trip up the Brocken by Steam train worth every penny.

Very adorable German style design, the room was spacious and very clean. There was a good choice at the breakfast buffet and the location was perfect!
There was no kettle in the room and no possibility to make a cup of tea outside the restaurant hours.

The room was darling. Loved the towel heater. Breakfast was nice. A very good value. Loved that they watched my luggage for me while I enjoyed the train ride.
No counter space in the bathroom and no outlet in the bathroom. Communication with the staff was a little difficult as they weren't completely fluent in English.

Liked everything. Excellent location within a set of character buildings including two restaurants and a tea room. Comfortable walking distance for town attractions and castle.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of continental style buffet breakfast items with welcome additional option of scrambled eggs & bacon. The room on the second floor was quiet and benefitted from a view towards Schloss Wernigerode. On Christmas Eve we were pleasantly surprised to find a small illuminated Christmas tree in the room and a tray of festive treats!

Hotel staff are friendly. The location is excellent, as it is located near to train station.
Varieties and range for the provided breakfast are pretty limited. Numbers of table are less than the guests. We had to wait for more than 15 minutes to get a table.
