Wonderful
Great place to stay if you want to explore the Harz. It's located a short walk from the city center in Wernigerode, it has its own parking space, breakfast was absolutely excellent, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Our towels had a sour smell after just using them once. Now, we may have been a bit sweaty but I'd say that these towels are probably worn out. Could do with changing these. It's a small thing, though, and everything else was perfect.

The property is ideally situated close to the city centre and very near to the train station for those wanting to ride the HSB to the Brocken or elsewhere. The manageress is very friendly and very keen to ensure that the guests' needs are fully catered for. She has put a lot of personal touches to the bedrooms and breakfast area which makes the guests feel relaxed and at home and valued.
The hotel is located close to a busy ring-road so traffic noise might be a problem if windows are left open at night. Also, there is a charge for overnight parking in the gated compound opposite the hotel, which given the overall price of the accommodation seemed a little unnecessary,

Breakfast was healthy and tasty. The staffs were great. The room was clean and perfect. The location was perfect. It took 5 mins to reach by walk from the train station. There lot of restaurants in or around the area. You can walk to almost all the tourist attractions.
