The room and balcony were elegant and relaxing. Very clean; beautifully furnished. Lovely plants. Very quiet. The location was a pleasant walk from the more interesting things to see in Weimar. Breakfast was a delight, in a lovely location, again beautifully furnished area with a great choice of items.
It would have been great to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room; also a mini-fridge.

Very Poor
I was very bad treated by the service. They dont treat foreginers good at all. After not finding anyone at Reception for a while, I left the keys at the counter and asked the Bank details to pay the stay via bank transfer, as I needed to leave quickly. I got a response that they would call the police if I dont go back within 30 minutes to pay it in person, to whom I said I could only do a couple of hours later. They didnt accepted and called me many times threatening to call the police and being extremely unpolite and aggressive.

This hotel is unique, not only because of the beautiful villa it is located in but also because of the hosts attention to detail. The breakfast is served in vintage china and everything is offered in such a way that there is no food wasted. That was the best thing. The whole place is incredibly cozy and it feels like home. Our room was very very beautifully decorated, in pale pink and with lovely lighing. There were books and magazines everywhere to read. The bathroom was also very good.

Spacious, high-ceiling rooms and breakfast room and good breakfast, convenient street parking in pleasant neighbourhood near Weimar centre.
Beds groaned a bit - new mattresses wouldn't have gone amiss; ten inch step from shower to bathroom floor in narrow bathroom was hazardous and grab rails should be fitted.

Perfectly located to walk into the centre of Weimar and visit its many attractions. Very comfortable room with a private terrace. The room itself was tastefully decorated with personal touches. Excellent continental breakfast buffet.

It was such a pleasure to live in a house with a history and with a staff that ensured a pleasant stay.
We enjoyed the house in itself and the close proximity of park and museums.

Unfortunately breakfast was grotesque. I have got only one cap of coffee, as there are only one can prepared for everyone, the same for milk.

After the original booking in Villa Hentzel was cancelled due to non-availability of staff, the new (alternative) booking was Hotel Liszt. Great location, close to downtown. Spacious rooms. OK breakfast, have seen better ones in such category and priced hotels.
Had to pay 40 for using the parking for 1 car and our small business trailer although the garage wasn't fully occupied. After receiving a cancellation for our original booking we would have expected a bit more tolerance.

The villa was beautiful and so was the surrounding area. So green and so quiet. The lady who was running everything (Marion Sattler) was quiet and efficient and very pleasant. The breakfast room and breakfast itself was very good. It was about a 12-15 minute walk into the old town, but a lovely walk. If you don't fancy walking, there is a No.1 bus a few minutes walk away that takes you into the centre.
It was all good!

Parking the car on site.
The breakfast was extremely poor and inadequate. The bath towels were not much bigger than hand towels. The manageress was rude. She walked into our room without knocking on the door. No apology.
