We had a very spacious suite with 2 double beds, large windows on 2 sides in the main rooms, plus a living room area. Nice high ceilings too. It was perfect for our family of 4. The breakfast was included and it had a nice assortment of offerings. There is garage parking (pay) but we found free street parking right out front. it was an easy 10 minute walk into the city center. I wish we had had a few more days to explore Weimar. We will be back.
All was fine, I can't think of anything not to our liking.

Lovely hotel, just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Easy to park in the neighbouring streets. Very large, comfortable room. No noise from outside. Very good quality breakfast.

The size of the room and the proximity to altstadt.
It is a very old building requiring full modernization. Nothing of fancy decoration and architecture. The furniture reminds me of the 60's. No notice in english. English is rather rare in tourist industry, not easy to find a menu list in english in the altstadt restaurants.I sent emails to the hotel in english advising that I do not know german and got reply in german. The reception closes at 14.00 and the central door was left broadly open, closed at night only. Parking around the hotel is a matter of luck. Room very clean. Breakfast below average.Recomended? I am not sure.
