At checkout, the gentleman who handled my checkout, had apparently been having lunch in the back office. He arrived at the front desk still chewing his food and was, frankly, not particularly polite.

Great location in the beautiful city of Weimar.
It is an old hotel, but well maintained.
We travelled with our small dog and were given a dog friendly room.
It wasn’t very modern but we paid a good price for the room.
Nevertheless we had to pay €20 extra for the dog and the parking was steep as well.
But if you arrive by train, the Bahnhof is opposite the hotel and we f you don’t bring your pooch, the hotel is very reasonable.
No kettle, no coffee facilities.
Dog and parking is extra.

It is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms. The restaurant is beautiful. I stayed here in 1992, May and November 2024. I always look for a hotel near the train station so the location is perfect for me
The bed this time was too hard. I found a solution by sleeping on the extra comforter or duvet in the closet

Location was excellent just north of the city centre next to the railway statíon. Staff was friendly and it was also easy to park at a reasonable cost. The rooms are up to standard with excellent beds and pillows. Carpets on the floor, but they were anyway clean. The reception and dining area is a little bit old, but anyway charming. Breakfast was better than expected - good value for money.

Nicely modernised older hotel at the station. Everything smart and worked. Car park and charger a bonus
The restaurant was overwhelmed by 2 groups. Staff were up front about delay. Really the kitchen needs to be able to cope or not except groups

Wonderful
The staff were very friendly on arrival and departure and the hotel is extremely nice inside with very comfortable rooms. You can walk to the main attractions in Weimar in about 15 minutes and as we were travelling by train the location was perfect.
We had no problems.

Wonderful
Staff friendly and helpful. Good sized room and bathroom. Very good choice at breakfast. We had an evening meal which was very enjoyable especially when you could request smaller portions. Parking is available. Buses stop frequently outside the hotel but if, like us, you like to walk, it only takes 10 minutes to reach the shops and cafes.

Disappointing
When I was booking it seemed very nice with a nice terrace. Also there was a welcome drink.
We could never get a seat on the terrace. There was no air conditioning in the hotel and in the room. Horrible. For that price not to have air conditioning.

Great location near the train station and 10 mins walk from centre. Very friendly staff.
My room was facing the street with bus stop and it was too noisy to leave the window open. The room was too hot and stuffy then to sleep. The pillow was lumpy and needs to be replaced.
