The hotel is beautifully located, and half of it in an historical building. The room was small, but comfortable and very clean, so we were generally happy about our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the environment very quiet, we had a very good rest.
The bathroom was pretty small, I didn't expect so narrow space in a "superior" double room. The new building is not as beautiful as the historical one of course, you might want to check where your room will be. While the room is fairly priced and definitely worth it, breakfast seems definitely overpriced, so we decided not to take it.

Careful! Breakfast times were announced through a message from the Hotel through Booking.com as 7-11 daily, but they were actually only until 10. This was very disappointing, especially on a day like Saturday 27th December. I reported this to the hotel. Also, breakfast is with its 22 Euro fee completely overpriced, many other hotels have the same level for 12-15 Euros on offer. I would suggest you get breakfast in another cafe a few minutes away, you'll save some money and won't have the time pressure. The interest of the hotel is to sell their Brunch package for a staggering 29 Euros, which is exaggerated considering what they actually offer.

Location outstanding.
All staff seemed unhappy to be there. Including reception. Except the cleaning staff - they were happy and friendly. Bizarre. There is no coffee and tea provided in yiur room Thats ok. So downstairs they provide ... just coffee. No tea. Wow. But thats ok I guess. But ... ... you can only have it when the staff are ready to set it up, still waiting at 710am and gave up on the other days lol. And they tell you too - only when they are ready. Wow. Considering their high cost i expected a human experience. Going through the motions until.you clock off is not only bad for customers but owners alike. But hey, maybe no effort is what made Weimar what its become today. Sad imitation of a once proud place.

Parking went well when you understood the system. The choice for breakfast was good, and the location was superb. Really in the middle of 'classical' Weimar.

Locatie is perfect for visiting Weimar. Large breakfast buffet.
Bathroom was terribly designed and unpractical. Room itself had strange storage and little room for a large suitcase.
