Disappointing
Great location, in the center and easy to walk around to the core sites there.
Staff were rude and very uninterested is helping out. Signage to find the lobby is poor. If you arrive through the underground parking, make sure to go to the far parking area where, if lit, you’ll find a door to reception. We are world travelers and ended up in the first door which brings you to a big courtyard with no signs to reception. Once we “explored” every nook and door, we found the reception on the complete other side. This is after a 6 hour drive, so we really didn’t feel like searching. Upon checking in, staff (young man) could not have been less interested in customer service, we were obviously interrupting him. The next receptionist, woman, about the same. Disappointing to say the least. Love Weimar and have been many time, sadly will never stay there again.

The hotel is beautifully located, and half of it in an historical building. The room was small, but comfortable and very clean, so we were generally happy about our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the environment very quiet, we had a very good rest.
The bathroom was pretty small, I didn't expect so narrow space in a "superior" double room. The new building is not as beautiful as the historical one of course, you might want to check where your room will be. While the room is fairly priced and definitely worth it, breakfast seems definitely overpriced, so we decided not to take it.

Great location, in Market place close to everything exciting yet quiet and friendly. We had breakfasts and dinners and the food was great. Wonderful experience highly recommended.

The breakfast and Dinner was exceptional. Staff were friendly. Great bakery where we bought some pastries and jam to take home.
Parking was a bit difficult as we didn't know to initate communication with the property from the intercom. Showerhead's pipe was broken, but water was perfect temperature and room was cozy.

The mail receptionist and the young waiter in the restaurant were very nice aswell as the lady who was present in the morning before 7 o clock
The receptionist was a rude person, came in 5 minutes after the time she was suposed to be opening the reception. Without excuses for her lateness and a kind goodmorning to us 2 guests waiting for her, she prepaired the invoice with great dislike. She was absolutely unqualified for working in a hotel. The kind and helpful lady who was not allowed checking quests out was actually the qualified one of both and I would suggest to give her the job.

Nice appointed rooms in a central location. Modern bathroom, comfortable bedding, blackout curtains.
Breakfast selection - I've had other buffets that were nicer ithan this one included in the price, the 10% discount at the cafe was tacky.
