Amazing location a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. Room was really bright on 2nd floor looking straight into trees. Quiet enough at night that we could leave the windows open.
Staff at reception when we arrived so didnt have to use digital check-in.

The location is fabulous. The building is lovely and historic. The room is fair; a good deal for its cost. It is spartan, but clean and cozy. The bathroom is equipped with very nice vanities. The room we stayed in was large and very bright, which was very nice.
The mattress for a double bed consisted in two single mattresses (hence, a hole in the middle). The pillows are odd, with uneven, very soft stuffing.

Comfortable, spacious, friendly staff; not far from where I needed to be.
I was very disappointed that the restaurant was closed during the time of my stay, I would have liked to have tried it - if nothing else, then at least the breakfast

We had a spacious apartment in a building next to the hotel. The main bedroom and sitting room were large, clean and comfortable, the second bedroom and bathroom were good sized and clean. The only disappointment was the food storage/ cooking facilities area which was cramped, in the hallway and not very well supplied. We didn't see much of the staff. The young man on reception was pleasnt and polite. The apartment was not cleaned although we were there for four nights. There were no cleaning materials in the flat, not even a dustpan and brush, or toilet cleaner.
