The facilities were excellent. The staff was especially delightful and helpful. The lobby and bar were a welcome area to wait in. There are excellent restaurants in a small shopping area nearby where we had an excellent Italian meal. The location was a further walk from the train station that we expected, but we quickly discovered a nearby bus stop that we used for transportation.
We stayed in Weimar to visit Buchenwald, the history of which is very dark for its WWII denial. The city bus driver was not helpful and dropped us off far from the camp. We ended up walking miles along the railroad like to get to the camp. This is not a problem with the hotel, but it should be brought up to the tourism organization as an issue that should be addressed for future visitors.

The location was fine for me working in Jena. Room, food, and staff were excellent. The staff couldn't do enough to help, and so attentive to every detail. It was a pleasure to stay there.
Car park barrier underground could be a bit temperamental at times.
