The staff was very friendly and helpful. The valet drivers were very professional. The hotel is in a central and beautiful location. Would stay again.
The price of breakfast for one person is a bit steep, but we never ordered it, so maybe it is worth it.

This is the most elegant vest western I have ever stayed at and rivals much more expensive luxury hotels in Germany. Everything was more than expected—the room, the hotel staff, the eating areas (the bar complete with bistro menu and delicious cakes) and amenities. And unlike some other hotels we stayed at on our 2 week road trip in Bermany, the wifi was stable and worked without a glitch. It is right on the main plaza in Weinar and we also got parking there (maybe off season and weekday helped). Highly recommend.

The location right at the old town was perfect; an easy walk into the inner city. The breakfast buffet was very good.
The room was small. The bed was too soft and sagged on the edges between the mattresses. The bathroom was small and the bathtub - shower was difficult to move in and not get water over the floor. There were no amenities in the bathroom. Parking was too expensive at €25 per day!

Location, cute bling bling style, very friendly service, great breakfast, had a really nice room with a balcony, requested quiet and got it. Would definitely stay here again.
No complaints. The equipment is from the 90s i guess but well maintained and clean.

Location was good. rooms were ok but the view from the rooms were not nice.
The staff was extremely unfriendly and arrogant. They did you not treat you as a guest rather somebody who disturbs there day. Don't pay for valet parking. They have the understanding that this mean you park your car by yourself and then walk 5 minutes back to the entrance of the hotel. If you ask if this is normal the staff treat you with no respect and extremely arrogant. If I pay Euro 250 per night for a suite I can bring my money to other nice hotels in this city.

Location and beautiful furnishings. We also received a complementary room upgrade that was amazing
Parking was too expensive and not convenient. Found place about 100 m from hotel on street that was much cheaper but hotel didn’t encourage or recommend this. Reception seemed a bit uptight and not used to Americans.

Room was well appointed and the overall classic decor was world-class. High quality vibe. Regardless of my dislikes I would stay there again.
No bellman the day we showed (Easter weekend). We had to use the cart and transport our own luggage (60 and 76 year olds). Was given convoluted driving directions to get to rear parking area and had to improvise myself to find it--convenient though as right out in back! Pricey restaurant with limited menu.

Great location in city centre, room had a terrace which was nice to watch the sunset. Bed was good, room overall comfortable enough
No parking space so you end up walking around quite a bit, overall fittings clean but look outdated withe the red carpets, wood panelling everywhere and gold colored door and light fittings

Breakfast very good quality and variety wise. Location is very central and staff very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very small and the gym doesn't have many workout options or machines.

Wonderful
Excellent hotel with a rich cultural history reflected in the various busts of artists, musicians and writers situated between the floors. It is associated most with Franz Liszt. Breakfast selection is not enormous but of very high quality with a good range of teas. Generous size of rooms. Attentive and interested staff. The foyer is beautiful.
No criticisms at all.
