Its a very basic hotel but met all my requirements for sleep only. The reception had no basic English so we used Google translate. It's near city center.

Great breakfast with good selection. Good location with 10 minutes walk to the edge of the old town.

The hotel is fantastic and I was given a very large and comfortable room on the top floor with a nice view. The room offered text and coffee and had two small fridges, one with the hotel's service beverages and the other empty for the guests. All appliances and fixtures were brand new and the bed super comfortable.
The lower score I am giving here is due to very poor internet service. The connection just did not work most of the time. I stayed for just two days but because I was working in Weimar I really depended on solid internet connection and therefore, could not do my work late night in the room. I had to share the connection from my mobile phone which was slow and not at all an ideal situation.

Quiet area. Big room.
No Internet connection in room. WiFi does't work. It only works in reception. They said it worked all over the hotel. But that was not the case. And they couldn't and wouldn't fix it.

It is very close to university, good location, clean rooms, friendly staff. I enjoyed in my stay, highly recommended. It could be a little bit far for the tourist who is visiting but i think it would be nice during the spring or summer with the surrounding.

It is close to the centre and comparable affordable.
The staff is not very friendly. For instance the reception was empty when we arrived and we had to wait. We had no towels in our room and when I asked for towels the staff at the reception said he will bring some later and just continued his private phone call in Italian. Maybe we wanted the towels immediately? No apology whatsoever. When we wanted to book the room for one more night he wasn’t able to do that so we booked ourselves the room on booking. The attitude some of the staff was neither nice nor service oriented. Besides the room was not very clean (especially the windows). In the bathroom was a spider web.

Perfect hotel to stay in Weimar. Big room, clean, very good breakfast, parking at the property, not far from the city center and last but not least - unbeatable prices. The staff is polite and welcoming. Excellent value for money.
