The parking was good and property was close to a store and bakery
The apartment is not set up for 4 adults or 2 couples, ok for a family of 4 with children not adults. The living room is a bedroom. Very limited space to lay out 4 suitcases and extremely limited in closet or dresser space. Kitchen had a limited number of utensils. The hair dryer didn't work, and I did get another but first got lectured about bringing my own in case this happens

Based on my stay, I find this accommodation unsuitable for long-term residency. The apartment does not receive any cleaning service and lacks basic cleaning supplies such as a mop or vacuum cleaner, making it quite challenging to maintain cleanliness. Here’s a list of items you should consider bringing if you plan to stay in these apartments for an extended period: -Dish sponges -Trash bags -Salt and oil -Coffee machine filters (+coffee) Bringing these essentials will help ensure that your stay is more comfortable.

The apartment is beautifully renovated, comfortable, in a lovely old building in a safe neighborhood. It is midway between the train station and the town center, but some may find the walk either way a bit too long, however there was a bus stop directly outside the building. We never used the bus.
The kitchen was so high-tech I was never able to use the cooktops. Some instructions would have been appreciated. We were happy with the fridge, toaster, microwave, and kettle. It was convenient to pay in advance, but for Americans without a European account, the bank transfer instead of credit card may be difficult to arrange.

The place was easy to find, had lots of free private parking. Key-collection, check-in etc. was very convenient, communication with hosts straight-forward. Facilities were very clean, though the furniture was a bit worn. Location is a bit off-centre, but Weimar is small, thus still walkable. Very few places of interest around that particular area, but kind of charming. Overall not a bad setup.
All apartments on the premise are non-smoking, however we had an apartment on the ground floor facing the back yard. Right below the window was the smoking areas for all tenants, which was frequented literally all through the day and night. As we kept windows open for cooling, the apartment was constantly filled with cigarette smoke and also smelled – which was less than pleasant. When we asked a smoker at 2am to possibly move elsewhere, we were berated. Also, our apartment had a very peculiar floor plan, which allowed two beds the be aligned only foot-to-foot - which is not a sleeping arrangement we usually choose as a couple. But for other constellations that should be fine.

Free parking, easy check-in and out.
The bed doesn't meets the standard, was too old, you could feel the mattress spring. Too close to the street and the bus stop right next to the house.
