Nice apartment in a lovely building in a great location.
I was surprised that a 2-bedrooom apartment had no communal space that was not one of the bedrooms (through which the occupant of the other bedroom had to go to get to the kitchen and bathroom). But it was more wrokable for us than we initially expected.

The location was fantastic as we could see the Herder Church steeple out our window. It was close to all the attractions. The host was informative and entertaining.
I could say that we did not like the climb up the stairs to our attic apartment, but we were warned in advance. We felt like we were getting in better shape just by climbing up and down the stairs.

The key collection was the only challenge as we had to travel somewhere else to take the keys. This information is not mentioned in the actual listing, but sent later on as a message. In the end, the collection was smooth.

Perfectly located to explore the sites in Weimar. Clean, comfy bed, roomy apartment, bright, lots of tall windows, antique furniture and decor to create a space with character, and help you feel immersed in the history of the place. Kitchen has what you might need to cook, if you choose to but there are so many great places to eat nearby, I used the fridge to store fruit, drinks and leftovers from restaurant meals. There is a washing machine on the ground floor if you need to do laundry and a clothes rack you can take to the room to dry them on. It was not far to walk from the Familien Hotel where you pick up the keys, to the apartment and staff were friendly and helpful, including help in booking a taxi. It is on a quiet street just far enough from the main platz that nights were quiet.

Wonderful
Elegant, comfortable and well-located apartment at a very reasonable price. It is near the centre of Weimar and easy walking distance of beautiful parks , museums etc. Kitchen was small but very well-equipped. Beds were large and comfortable. We loved the wonderful old photographs on the walls. Communication with the property was excellent throughout.
The only thing we didn't like was that, due to us arriving around 9pm, we had to go and pick up the key from a key locker outside a hotel some 350 meters away - not ideal when you're carrying luggage. We don't understand why the key locker isn't on the apartment building itself.

Central location
The apartment was on the top floor and there's no lift. Also, the fact that the two bedrooms were connected, so you had to cross one to get to the bathroom- not ideal.....I also expected to have a bigger sitting room area - the fotos were definitely deceiving about the size of the apartment. I have the feeling we got a different apartment to that in the photos?

Location was very central and room was very clean. The furnishings were sweet and comfortable. Check-in process was extremely easy and receptionist was kind and patient in giving us instructions and local tips.

We loved the old building right in the centre of Weimar with its high ceiling. The kitchen was well equipped.
I liked the curtains which made the room properly dark at night.
The bathroom was minuscule and so was the shower. But there were lots of shelves.
The beds only had 1 poor quality pillow each and there were no cushions at all on the sofa.
