Wonderful
The gentleman at reception was super helpful and friendly. They have a large bicycle garage and the location of the hotel was good and getting to and from the Moselle Cycle Path was easy.
I would have preferred a walk-in shower instead of the gob shower but that is a minor concern. Also, the fan supplied with the room made it comfortable enough to sleep, but real air conditioning would have been nice.

Excellent location - at the beginning of the city center, yet away from the crowds. Conveniently, there are family rooms with connecting doors if you're traveling with children. The bathrooms are renovated. Nice bar at the lobby with snooker and table football.
Poor choice at the breakfast, with juices watered down.

Check-in and check-out went okay, and the photos accurately represent the property. The beds were comfortable, and the room itself was clean. The highlight of the stay was the bathroom, which was spotless and modern, although a bit cramped.
Unfortunately, the room was disappointing. It felt overpriced, though that’s not unusual in a tourist-heavy city. There were very few amenities and almost no space to put belongings, which made the stay uncomfortable for two nights. The room was also quite dark, with no overhead lighting. Breakfast wasn’t included, and parking added another expense to an already costly stay.
Another major drawback was the elevator situation. Only one was working, and it was quite dated and extremely slow. With six floors and heavy use, it often meant waiting five to six minutes just to get to your room, which quickly became frustrating.

the lobby looks nice, and staff was helpful. a free small bottle of water was nice (although really small)
Breakfast was 2nd rate. Although we were on an upper floor we could hear music late at night, and there was sort of machine like noise 24 hours that woke me up a few times. Room was not special. Location is not that great - 25 minute walk from train station and 12 minute walk to city center. No markets around there. Too expensive.

The property was well located. Our room was both functional and comfortable. Air conditioning was a tremendous plus. The hotel staff were courteous, efficient and professional. We truly enjoyed our stay at this property.
Honestly, the underground parking was just a little tight for me. Thank goodness that we had a small car.

Dear Best Western Management. I would like to extend another huge thank you to you, your front desk (Elena, Emie, Federico, and Marvin), breakfast room and cleaning staff for making our trip extremely enjoyable and memorable.
I traveled from United States with my brother and my 89-year-old mother. My mother is originally from Trier. Her birthday wish was to visit Trier to see her house that she grew up in, her parents’ grave, her church and a childhood friend and visit the sites in the city center. We stayed in the Best Western several days at the beginning of our trip and several days at the end of our trip.
From the moment we checked in to the day we checked out your staff treated us like family. The smiles and daily greetings made a world of difference during our stay. When we returned for the second time to your hotel, the front desk was waiting for our arrival and greeted us with hugs and welcomed us back. The staff had our original rooms waiting for us and made sure that my elderly mother’s bathroom was equipped with a bathtub mat and shower handle.
The breakfast room staff were amazing as well. They also remembered us from the first week that we stayed with you and greeted us with smiles and hugs. They remembered my mother’s coffee preference and had it waiting for her every morning. The cleaning girls were amazing as well and addressed our daily needs.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone that will be visiting Trier. The hotel, bedrooms and facility are exceptionally clean. The staff is amazing, friendly, and fun. The hotel is situated next to the cobblestone walkway that leads into the city center restaurants and stores. Parking at the hotel is good and easy. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. The hotel has a bar, pool table, workout room and beautiful indoor and outdoor lounge areas. I cannot wait to come back.
