Pleasant
Beds were comfortable. It was a bit of a walk to the central square but a nice walk.
Shower was very messy. Water went all over the bathroom when it was used. Check in time was very late but we tried to plan to arrive at check in time. We also had issues connecting to the wifi.

Room was not comfortable, cold feeling. Somehow loud from the retaurant nearby. It was not possible to get breakfast event for additional fee.

There was no one available to check in. It said that check in was possible before 2.30pm but we arrived at 2.15pm and there was no one there. We had to wait until 5pm which meant that we were unable to do any sightseeing.

The owner was very rude. He was speaking to my friend with arrogance, and he got him out of the house with absolute rudeness and impolite way, although he was only waiting for me to put my bags up in my room.

Staff was perfect, very accommodating. Something went wrong with my booking, but they fixed it on the spot. Perfect! Rooms where simple, but nice and clean. All we needed.

as I was travelling with a group on a motorcycle tour being able to get 4 twin rooms on a budget ‘‘twas a priority. Hotel Balkan easily accommodated us.
the rooms are very quiet and the restaurant on site is good
for thé price it was great, the bathroom in my room wasn’t plush but it had what I needed

We did not have breakfast there. There was a nice restaurant where we had dinner one night.
The location was very difficult to find, but that is because the homes/buildings in Trier are numbered out of order.

IBreakfast Disgraceful. Location to far from City Centre. 24. Euros for breakfast 1 hard boiled egg . And small butter rock hard for to try and spread on a Breakfast roll . Never mind the Duvet being too small for the bed No shower gel or shampoo had to be requested . Overall never again would I stay there .Paddy from Dublin. Ireland
