Easy to find, close to rail station, lots of restaurants walking area. All historic sites nearby.

Met our needs for one night in Trier
A larger shower instead of the teeeny tiny one would have been preferable. The stairs were a bit treacherous as the elevators didn't cover all you had to climb

Reception NOT open until 6 pm—rather 5 pm. NO such thing as coffee/refreshments available in reception area while open (as stated by them)—I was told coffee was only available during breakfast.

City center near Porta Nigra. Small but cozy room. Clean.
1. Top floor. No air conditioning. It will be hot in summer.
2. The elevator goes half a floor. To get to the top floor you have to go up the stairs half a floor, to get to the second to last floor you have to go down half a floor.
3. The reception is open from 15:00 to 18:00. We called that we were late and they sent us a code to enter by email. But we forgot to ask for parking. After 18:00 no one answered the phone. And we had to park our car in an expensive city parking lot: 22 euro instead of 9 euro.

Location and breakfast.
Room #6 faced the main road and traffic noise was super loud. Ear plugs are a must for light sleepers. The only window was in the bathroom and the bedroom was dark and stuffy. We had to run the fan all night for air circulation. There was no mirror in the bathroom with good lighting.

Great location. 2 min walk from the Porta Nigra. Small market next door to get bakery items and sandwiches for lunch.
Clean, has been updated. Great location. Fan in each room (we were there in August). Elevator.
