This cozy, family-run hotel lies on the Moselle's left bank in Trier, directly along the Moselle bicycle route. It is a 15-minute walk from the Porta Nigra and a 25-minute walk from the Old Town. Look forward to comfortable rooms and a tasty breakfast buffet at the Hotel Feilen-Wolff. The hotel makes an ideal base for day-trips to Luxemburg, hiking and bicycle excursions into the Moselle countryside, and sight-seeing in the historic city. Exceptional
The room was simple but had everything I needed. Good heating. Breakfast was good with croissants, pain au chocolat, teas, coffee, yogurt, cheeses, hams, breads and jams. The receptionists gave me a tour of the hotel and showed me may room personally. They also kept my luggage in the morning/afternoon while I visited the city.
Everything was fine. I cannot complain about anything. The location is not optimal, but for a budget hotel it is good.

It is a very cozy hotel with a nice retro atmosphere. It felt very familiar and comfortable, and I felt safe staying there. The bed was also really comfortable.
I had heavy luggage and there was no elevator.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard, with good-quality food. Housekeeping was very efficient: each day I went for breakfast at 7:00 a.m., and when I returned around 7:30, my room had already been cleaned. All the facilities worked well. The water quality was excellent, but this is a feature of Trier rather than of this particular hotel.
It is an old building, and the rooms are not air-conditioned. The temperatures were high during my stay, and since my room faced west, it became rather stuffy in the evening. The rooms opposite mine, in the annex, did not have this problem and also had balconies, so I recommend booking a room in the annex rather than in the main building if you travel in summer. It would also be nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold.

Very nice staff, easy parking ( outdoor on premises and free) and walking access to city centre. Good breakfast buffet in spacious restaurant and spacious rooms with comfy mattress and seating area and bathroom with good shower. A little old fashioned interior but clean.
Located on a main street which can get noisy. We had rooms to the back and heard people in the back yard early in the morning and late evening. Noisy corridors due to people talking loudly when arriving pulling suitcases not caring about waking others very late at night and room doors opening and closing. This is not the hotel's fault of course but you can hear everything from one room to another.
