Room was cozy and clean. Mattresses were comfortable and location is close to downtown for all the sights. Had parking for an extra fee, but we were traveling so it was worth it. Breakfast was excellent!

Very good room size.
Hotel takes large coach tours. There for breakfast three of our four nights. Took over almost all seats and the food. Leading to long queues for coffee etc. very noisy of course. Main problem our booked double bed turned oil to be two singles pushed together with separate duvets which kept falling off in a very uncomfortable first night. At first we were unable to get any help, reluctant staff told us they couldn’t do anything and no double duvets available. Finally got a double sheet put on under the duvets which helped but not satisfactory.

We used this accommodation to visit the city of Trier. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant as there are a lot of cafe's and restaurants within an easy walk. The old town and all the sites are within a walkable distance. The underground car park was well lit and at 15 euros a night not much more expensive than the outdoor carpark which is 10 euros a night. You need to pre-book the underground car park. The outdoor one is on a first come, first served basis.
Everything was good. It is a standard city centre hotel.

This is a very good institution, very well cared for and run. There were staff all over the place doing maintainance, the desk staff kept themselves to themselves until you needed something and then they were there.

The hotel was located close to the various Roman ruins that make Trier so interesting. Trips to the amphitheatre and baths are well worth it. There are many good restaurants nearby and if you do not have breakfast in the hotel then the nearby cafe Leanis does an excellent breakfast.
