Suffocating, misleading, and absolutely not worth the price
I honestly don’t understand how this place has such a high score.
The room had only one small window, and was hot, humid, and full of stagnant air. I arrived very tired, expecting to rest, but the room felt unbreathable. I tried airing it out, but it didn’t help. At some point I dozed off, only to wake up coughing, panicking, and gasping for air. I had to rush to open the window just to breathe properly.
Even worse, people were smoking right outside on the terrace, which is also the access path to the rooms—so the cigarette smell came right in. By the time I noticed, I was already settled and exhausted.
I could have asked to change rooms, but I was too drained and instead had to waste time finding another hotel, which was the last thing I needed. Honestly, for the price I paid, this level of discomfort is unacceptable.
While I was paying for my room, another guest politely asked about dinner. The owner’s reaction was deeply telling — he responded vaguely, evasively, and only after being asked two or three times, simply saying the restaurant was closed with no explanation or alternatives. Witnessing this kind of dismissive behavior made it very clear to me: if this is how he treats a guest right in front of others, what could I expect for myself?
I was tired and had more urgent priorities — like finding a safe, decent place to rest and sleep. And clearly, that wasn’t going to happen here.
Later I found out the restaurant is only open on Sundays for a buffet, which honestly feels like a scam. It’s obvious there’s no proper chef or functioning kitchen, and the whole place seems like it’s falling apart.
This was not just disappointing—it was uncomfortable, unhealthy, and dishonest. Avoid.

Nice big room with cute terrace. There is restaurant/beer garden that has good food in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Great service
The beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable but not too bad. There is no air conditioning so was a little warm at night.

We stayed just one night so location was not important to us. The property itself was very pleasant, having everything what was needed, clean room and very comfortable bed. We did not use restaurant but we were offered a complementary coffee in the morning which was very nice. The Owner is a very attentive and smily person. We recommend Casa Verde.

Nice vibe. The hotel is a family business and feels like that in a good way. Place is clean. Good Internet and TV. Optional breakfast and a restaurant makes it convenient.
driving and parking is a bit complicated in the area. The neighbourhood is not that vibrant, while in contrast there’s very busy traffic. It would have been nice having a small fridge.

Good room for a reasonable price
Stairs were a bit difficult especially if you have an elderly dog who struggles with stairs . Would of been nice to have a kettle for a hot drink.

I would appreciate having a wider variety of breakfast options.
Perhaps using a lift would have been a better option. My room was on the second floor, and carrying my large baggage up there was challenging through the stairs.
