The location was great, literally across from the Porta Nigra and walking distance to all unesco sites. Not only that the convenience to grocery and all restaurants and bars.

The location can't be beat! You are right at the Porta Nigra Gate and directly above the Trier Christmas Market. You are easily in walking distance from all major sights in Trier. The apartment was spacious and our family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out and play games in the kitchenette. If you do book this apartment, be aware it is on the top floor, so be ready to climb stairs with your luggage. Parking was available across the street.
The sheets on the bed were ripped and the mattress had some light stains on it. The host was easy to contact and worked with us on this issue.

The location was amazing!! Apartment walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, bars, and parking. Coffee in the machine for us was a bonus.

The apartment is clean and modern but in an old building in the heart of old town which was within walking distance from the train station and to other Historical sites. From the fourth floor window you overlook the Porta Nigra. The night we were there the center was rocking with a summer concert.
The lighting flickered occasionally.

Brilliant location, good instructions for apartment access (by foot only) and really nice apartment. Parking is at an offsite location, but I got a lucky park one street across.

Location is perfect for exploring the town. With shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
Bathroom is large and modern.
Bed was large with comfy mattress.
Kitchen contained everything required including cleaning materials and a coffee machine.
Host was great, kept in touch throughout and even replenished coffee beans and toilet roll promptly when we asked.
Entry and exit instructions were perfect.
Would definitely recommend.
The pillows were quite flat but I believe this is normal in Germany.
