The family-run hotel SCHULZENS Brauerei & Hotel and the associated guest house Weißer Schwan are located in the old imperial city of Tangermünde, providing a base for a variety of activities in the Altmark region. The SCHULZENS Brauerei & Hotel restaurant serves specialties from the Altmark region and German cuisine. The hotel features its own brewery, producing various sorts of beer. The hotel has its own riverside garden by the Elbe. In the garden, music evenings are hosted regularly and in summer it hosts open-air concerts and various festivities. The hotel features its own museum called Zeitzeug am Eulenturm.

Like a fairytale. The hotel is located in the middle of the beautiful historical center of Tangermnde. From the window of our room we could see Burg Tangermnde, the Eulenturm and St .Stephen's Church. Nice and helpful staff, rooms were clean and well equipped. The breakfast was tasty and we also tried the local beer, which you can buy here. The hotel consists of several buildings. A small museum with an interesting collection of antique tools is part of the hotel complex. We also saw a wedding party here during our stay. This place has an interesting atmosphere that combines history with the comfort of modern times. We were here for a short time, but SCHULZENS Brauerei & Hotel impressed us, as did the whole city of Tangermnde. I would definitely like to come back one day. Thank You! Danke schn!
We didn't have enough time to explore the beautiful city of Tangermnde and see all the attractions that the hotel has to offer. It is worth coming for longer, there are many beautiful historical places and the hotel offers many options for entertainment.

Two double beds in one semi attached rooms
Road construction right in front of our windows in ground floor at the time of our stay. Also the busy on the Otherwise side is a minor disadvantage. Otherwise it would be ok.

At 23:00, after a long drive, the wonderful people at reception offered us a beer. The ladies at breakfast were very friendly, and the buffet was fabulous. The set up with the brewery, hotel and restaurant was charming. If the non secure bicycle storage situation is fixed, this hotel would receive a 10 rating from me.
THIS IS NOT A BIKE FRIENDLY HOTEL if you are concerned with bicycle theft. The parking was open to the public, and the bicycle shed was completely NOT secure. See the photos of the flimsy shed door and the cheap lock. Since we were unsure of the security situation, we booked a larger room so we could bring our bicycles in the room. We place them on a blanket to protect the floors. We have done this in countless hotels across Germany and Europe. They allowed dogs in the room, yet not Carbon Fiber bicycles. They gave us excuses like insurance/room size and they were rude about it. The bicycle was clearly safer in the room with us during the night and there was plenty of space. They either need to remove "bike friendly" from their advertisement or change their rules.

The vibe was great, nice spacious double room, great food (best schweinshaxe my man has had, and he is experienced:)), funny retro museum, local brewery, great location, and the buildings are beautiful
