Smooth check in and check out. The room was clean. Short walk to the city center.
The heating was turned up high in the building for this time of year. The room was warm. We opened the window at first, but the room is located next to the Stadtbahn (lightrail) tracks and you hear trams/metro passing by every 5 minutes. So we closed the window and turned on the AC to sleep better.

The suite was very good. It was at the main building facing the street but it had double windows and you couldn't hear anything. The whirlpool was cozy. It is close to the city and you can go there on foot. Parking possibility with a small fee.

It is immaculately clean The staff are all very pleasant The room is a decent size for a single The mattress is good The shower is good The air conditioning system works well There is a fridge in the room It is very well located (10 minutes walk down to Charlottenplatz or 3 mins on the U-Bahn which is 2 minutes around the corner / 30 mins from the airport)
The whole place looked very old-fashioned. No lift up to higher floors I could hear every U-Bahn train going past even with the windows shut and my room was at the back of the property! The ceiling is so thin that I can hear the person upstairs receiving texts on their phone. Every time anyone from the floor above flushes the toilet, I can hear it in my bathroom! There is no tea & coffee facilities in the room - not even a kettle. You get one 500ml bottle of water free at the start of your stay - this is not replenished. The bedding consists only of a quilt which is not even as wide as the mattress & so slides around all night. The quality of the breakfast was fine, but 99% of hotels provide a buffet breakfast - here, you have to decide what you want the night before - you can either have meats and cheeses with a couple of bread rolls or you can have a jam, marmalade, honey, and Nutella with your bread rolls. You can also have one small coffee. If you want any more than this, you have to pay for each item. The hotel lists an iPad in each room - I was intrigued by this, but you can't actually do anything much with it - it exists to tell you various things about the hotel, allows you to order room service, and so on

The receptionist was very nice. The location is good
The food was poor. They tried to charge us more than we owed. They didn't change our towels in the rooms, and when we asked, they only changed one towel. There is no receptionist at night. There is no drinking water; you must buy from them

Staff was very nice and caring about us. Parking is a private one and closed during the night so i found it very safe.
Very old facilities. First room we received has a strong smell of smoke. Very noisy as the room faced a big street with tram passing by the all night

Close to metro just 4 stops from CBD.Gorgeous family run property. Michelin standard restaurant. Friendly staff. Large room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

This hotel was good, but the location wasn't as central as we had hoped. There is a tram at the front door but there are very few restaurants, cafes or bakeries nearby. It is also on a fairly busy road. The hotel is quaint but a little too old worldly for us. It was clean and the rooms were a decent size. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
Breakfast wasn't included.
