The room was clean, although very bare.
When I arrived (in the middle of the day!) there was no staff on site and everything was shut down, despite my previous booking and arrival information, so I had to call to get someone to open the door and check me in.
I guess they do no maintenance because I got stuck in the elevator when it broke down!
Breakfast buffet was very basic and had no alternatives for vegans.
Very little English spoken.
Not such a nice area in the city....

Good location for my needs, nice shower
Unfriendly staff, main room not clean, looked like school dorm room (marks on the wall, cold). The receptionist just pointed out three times during the check-in, that I didn't book breakfast with them (as I would be obliged to), during checkout another receptionist barely looked at me. I guess prices were higher because of the "Wasen" happening, still for this prive i would expect a bit more comfort or at least better hospitality.

The reception was still available at 9pm.
The room was comfortable and clean.

Conveniently located near my job, not too far from the city centre and self check in with digital keys.
The room door was not closing easily, I had to push it really hard all the time.
Internet is practically non existent.
The toilet had a very bad smell upon arrival, which was sustained during the whole stay

Overall, I really like my stay in this hotel. The stuff were very nice and helpful, the hotel is pretty new and very clean. The room was very clean, new and comfortable, it's spacious and bright, very quiet too. You can find all essentials in this room, except iron, but I didn't need it during my stay so it doesn't matter. The only downside for this room is that the bed is not very comfortable, but I can still sleep very well at night, as it was so quiet and the curtains were light proof! By the way, the hotel and room had good smell too. This hotel is also right next to Lidl and Aldi, it's very close to the metro station and bus station, close to the zoo and city centre too. I highly recommend it since it's very cheap but offers great value.
The bed is not very comfortable, and that's the only downside. But it's so cheap, and all the other essentials are pretty good, so no complaints in general.

The room is visible from the neighboring building (the curtains must be fully closed).
The view is of a dumpster/storage area for bins.
There is a strange smell in the hallway and in the room.
It is not possible to park without checking in first.

Super friendly staff, very helpful. A top location for concerts at the Wizemann with a short travel distance. The breakfast was very good.

The only advantage for me was the parking lot, which could be seen from the window.
The hotel's soundproofing is far from the “excellent” quality mentioned in the description. From 8 a.m. onwards, it was impossible to sleep due to the cleaning staff making a lot of noise – slamming doors with full force. The walls are extremely thin and the noise travels easily.
The reception is located in a separate building, with no clear signs or directions. You’re left to figure out on your own where to go, which floor, and how to get to your room – very inconvenient.
The room looks much bigger in the photos than it actually is. I had a double room with a large bed, but it was only about 13 m² – very small. The TV was outdated – a thick, old model with a small screen, definitely not modern.
