This youth hostel is located just a 10-minute walk from Stuttgart Main Station and the Königsstraße shopping mile. Jugendherberge Stuttgart has a terrace with panoramic views of central Stuttgart. The simply furnished rooms and dormitories at Jugendherberge Stuttgart International all include a seating area and a private bathroom with shower. Free WiFi is available in public areas. I missed the last train, so I needed to find a place to stay for the night at the last minute. When I booked it, I honestly didn’t expect much, just hoped it would be clean. But my stay here turned out to be much better than I expected. It’s easy to get here: you just take bus 42 and then walk a short distance. I booked a four-bed female dorm. The room and the beds were very clean, and the bathroom was quite spacious. The toilet even had accessible facilities. Luckily only two beds were booked that night, and my roommate was quiet and very polite, so I got a really good rest. The breakfast was nice, and it’s less than a 15-minute walk downhill to the train station. Overall it was a really good stay.

Wonderful
This hostel is situated about 10 minutes away from Stuttgart city center on the U15 tram. The closest stop to the hostel is Eugensplatz, which is about 3 minutes away on foot. The reception could be accessed by the elevator. The check-in process was smooth, and I was assigned a room in the adjoining building. The room was basic, but clean, sufficiently spaced & the bed was small. It was equipped with a large working table, a couple of chairs, a heater, and an almirah. The bathroom was sufficiently spaced, and it was clean. Hot water worked without an issue. Towels, soap & amenities were available. I could use the washing machine and the dryer for an extra fee. The breakfast had multiple options, and it was wholesome. Upon checkout, I could store our luggage in the designated luggage room until I left Stuttgart.

The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. I loved the rooms — they were cute and clean. There was hot water available at all times. I had a very comfortable stay here
Sleeping in a bunk bed is not for me. I felt a bit cramped when I lay on the mattress. There was a constant food smell in the corridors, which I didn’t like.

After I made an request at the property they just told me that they would change their website. They didn't provide me with the services I paid for and I was really abruptly interrupted while trying to have breakfast. I also needed to go to the reception with the cleaning lady who screamed at me very loudly. Now I didn't had breakfast and my day is already done. They don't care, they took the money anyways. Them they give me 7 euros back for the breakfast and I had to leave my room early and no real shower etc. Don't stay there

Nothing. The place has a good view. That's it. The showers are dirty, the rooms only get cleaned what is really necessary. Services which they offer and I already paid for, have been denied. There is no friendlynes at this place and if you ask you are treated horribly and just like an intruder but not like it's common, or what you expect guests would be treated like in a hotel / hostel ... The staff is unfriendly, except one really nice woman working there. The place is loud though too. The security guy screamed at us because in his own words, he had a bad day. On my journey, this was the most weird stay I ever had. That's quite sad because the place has a lot potential.
