We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hetzel Hotel Stuttgart, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hospitality experiences I've ever had. The staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely kind — truly some of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered at any hotel. Their attentiveness made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived.
The surrounding district added another layer of charm to our stay. It had a unique atmosphere — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and almost cinematic in how it gave us chills walking through it. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and take everything in.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay near Stuttgart. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, you'll leave with fond memories and a desire to return.

Quiet location and very comfortable hotel. Clean, with great breakfast. Staff was very helpful I was charged through booking agency and by hotel but staff called when they discovered the mistake and called me. Refunded the double charge.
Parking was a bit confusing. We arrived evening and had to search for a parking spot. Found one, so it worked out. I wish there was more room in their area for a drink but was always full. Attached restaurant was only for reserved customers. Probably not a problem outside of Cannstatt fest period.

Clean rooms modern bathroom, good breakfast, connectivity to tram, friendly staff
Nothing to complain about. We opened the windows to get some fresh air and couple of mosquitos came in...but we travelled in peak Summer.

El. sockets and switches next to the bed.
The mattress was pretty OK.
Really nice staff at breakfast.
Definitely not a 4 stars hotel.
For sure not 22 sqm room.... may be 12, max 15sq.m
Below average breakfast. Juice was a cheap lemonade.
No complimentary water.
No air-condition... to be there a 3 days before, I bath in my sweat.

Garbage in-front of the hotel, really 3 meters from main entrance.... whole 3 days a LOT of plastic bags with household waste.
Limited parking slots.
Someone threw leftover food at my car at night.
May be too far from Vienna but Wiener Schnitzel was far below average and potato salad so heavy and oily.
