Inspiring hotel in an historical setting. Walking the surounding area was a big hit - massive tower and church tower. Close to restaurants, good parking. Dog friendly.

Fantastic view from the room with sun in the evening.
Location: in the middle of the historic village was appreciated
We got our room early after arrival and could relax from our bike day
A possibility to prepare a tea on arrival in the room would have been appreciated

Fantastic stay in a great location within castle walls. Hotel has been extensively modernised, room was very clean and staff helpful. Breakfast offers something for absolutely everyone. Parking is right outside (at a charge) and restaurants are near by. This is a must stay when in the area!

Excellent location in centre of Schlitz.
Staff kept the place spotless.
Dead in the evenings, drinks available but not a proper bar.
