Wonderful
The staff and service were excellent, and they kindly allowed us to check in one hour earlier than the scheduled time. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, and very varied. The cleanliness and overall atmosphere were outstandingly quiet and relaxing. Great attention was also given to children’s needs, which made the stay very family friendly. Walking along the coast near the hotel was a wonderful experience, with beautiful scenery, playgrounds for children, and plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Overall, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I will definitely visit again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was very nice, and the location of the hotel is lovely in front of a nice beach. The Room was spacious and the bathroom was impecable. Comfy bed too.
The whole water park they have attached to it, which was one of the main reasons why we booked this hotel. It felt like a free public park. It did not feel relaxing or luxurious. The amount of people there, the amount of kids yelling (the park is open to the general public and it gets really packed). The spa also seems to never have availability. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for couples or people who are looking for a relaxing get-away. The bridge connecting the hotel to the water park smelt funny, and I agree with the comments about the food. Very limited options, and the food was OK, but definitely overpriced for what it was. This is more like a 4* accommodation.

Great breakfast with a huge variety of options. Clean and spacious bedrooms with spa robes and slippers provided. Located on the beach. Small free mini bar and fruit upon arrival.
The hotel charges for any and every addition. Disappointingly we were charged extra to have two glasses of tap water and mayonnaise for dinner. Parking is 14 euros per night which is not clearly specified when booking. The breakfast staff are friendly but some of the reception staff are abrupt and rude. Wi-Fi is very intermittent. Overall pleasant but not exceptional for the money paid.

It’s an old school hotel, but kept in perfect order. Great breakfast, very helpful and welcoming staff. The sauna complex is the highlight, with lots of sauna types and great steaming sessions.
In my room there was no mobile signal, and wifi signal was also not stable. The spa was booked out totally, although the hotel wasn’t even full - I guess they should have more therapists there even during the low season.

The hotel itself was lovely, right on the beach. Clean with a good breakfast. The dinner menu is a bit limited. Rooms were spacious and clean. Catarina the waitress in the restaurant was wonderful.
The spa is a bit old and not enough steam rooms, the aufguss is not fantastic as there no real activities, only steaming compared to other spas. The spa for massaging had no availability for hotel guests. The bar area is an also very limited on drinks and food.

Disappointing
The placement is amazing
For years, I have loved coming to hotel Belveder with my husband and dog, always staying in one of the rooms on the ground floor with a little common garden. This time, I was told I had to stay on first floor with a balcony - and had to pay in advance. All fine so far.
Until I saw room 113. Dark in a corner of the building, direct view to the passage leading to the spa, all of us being exposed.
I complained immediately - I booked a room on 4 December 2023 for 2 days from 1 to 3 August 2024, and then - after years of fidelity - they gave me this - without a warning IF that was the last room available - AND at a price of 340 euros per night !!
No way I could get a refund or reduction or another room. OK admittedly, a young stubborn receptionist offered me a room towards the parking, but told me at the same time, that it gets very hot because the sun is tapping in all day and there is no AC. So I doubted that it would work out for our dog, who is very sensitive to heat - but I was willing to see the room - which she refused me.
However, now she was very content that she had given me 2 alternatives and insiting that I had gotten a room in the category, that I had chosen. I pointed out that a room with a garden or a balcony with a decent view, cannot be in the same category as a dark room with a shitty view - to which she revealed that Belveder deliberately do not show photos on booking.com of the balcony or garden. Well, that is ok if all the rooms, with a garden or a balcony, are of the same quality, but not if you have to buy a pig in a poke.
Obviously, clients should know what they get for their money, and obviously room 113 is not worth 340 euros per night.
I raised my critism and request for a reduction in a mail to the management, but was completely ignored.

The hotel is an excellent place to relax and to calm down from daily work stress. The direct connection to the "Ostsee Therme" is very convenient.
The room furnitures are a bit outdated and do not really fit the price for the room.
