Had a nice stay. Beautiful place, friendly staff, breakfast was good.
Crazy expensive electric car charging. 60 euros for approximately 70kwh. Although I contacted the property afterwards (as requested by the reception) I received twice the same generic response offering a discount on the next stay. While this is kind, it is not suitable for compensating for the ridiculously high charging costs. I would expect a partial refund.

Lovely ancient building, beautifully restored. The restaurant provided excellent food and drink. The staff was very friendly and the location suited us.
We found the beds a little too high and a the mattress a bit too hard - but we still slept ok.

The included breakfast was wonderful and as was the Wednesday BBQ buffet in the beer garden. The selections were delicious and all local. The staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful.

Good location, close from the highway,perfect for a layover stop. v nice Biergarten to hang out. Hotel has a nice charm.
It was extremely hot in the rooms,we were put in the room under the roof with a small baby. Of course temperature outside was 30 degrees+ and hotel cant help on this but its not healthy to sleep when the temperature in the room is over 28 especially for the 2 months old baby. In my opinion it was also too much decorative elements in the room and outside, some of them quite dusty, in the breakfast room a big spider net at the window.

The location is easy to find and in a lovely area, not to far from Autobahn, but in a quiet village setting. The property is super nice with so many original features, it like stepping back in time. The rooms are very nice and have a cosy individual feel. With a good shower and WC. The beds are comfy with fresh crisp linen. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and hot coffee. Our evening meal was taken in the beer garden which is very nice and relaxing, The food was traditional local style with good portions and friendly service. The owners are welcoming and speak perfect English. We look forward to returning.

We made a pitstop in Nuremberg on a drive from Amsterdam to Italy and were wonderfully surprised. The hotel is beautiful, especially the courtyard. The medieval building has tremendous character and we loved the rooms (we booked 2). Breakfast was good, drinks in the yard were great and we loved dinner in the biergarten too. We could see and feel the owners' genuine concern for guests' wellbeing. It was easy to park on streets nearby and owner made sure we could safely unload our suitcases in front of the hotel before suggesting another parking spot.
