I arrived found no one on the reception and the phone note working the self check in machine state that my booking is not valid and I still in the street till I found another hotel and the time was too late and I couldnt find the same date reservation
I have no problem with the self check in but an employee should be in duty for emergency as I think

Nice, clean and comfortable room for three. Kids loved the upper bed and TV programs. :-) Breakfast was also good, we found there everything we needed. Ladies at the reception were very nice and helpful. The best quality/price ratio we could find in the surroundings. Just a short ride away from Duisburg ZOO where we headed the next day.
We only missed a kettle to boil the water, it was also not available at the reception. They had a coffee machine but usually they turn it off at 8 pm (and it was later in the evening when we needed it). Would be nice to have it available at any time.

A regular Ibis Budget hotel for our family looking for an affordable accommodation and free onsite parking.
Room was not clean (below average in a surprising way) Reservation is closing at 22:00 (self reservation is available)

It is clean everywhere, despite the room is small and furniture is outdated
I was shocked that there is no pillows on the bed. When i asked receptionist to provide us the pillows, she didn't understand why I ask about that. She said that the pillows had run out and we should sleep without pillows. We also only had one 1-person duvet for 3 people. The receptionist said that this is also normal. The breakfast was very modest and overpriced. Wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Nice staff!
Room was big enough for just one night.
The entrance to the hotel is hard to find in the dark. Ik would be nice if there was a big sign next to the very dark road. So we wouldn't have missed the exit the first time driving by.
Very hard mattress on the bed. Too hard for my preference.
