Pristine location by the lake in a renovated venue. The location is definitely unique and contributes to the overall positive experience. Cuisine served in the restaurant is superb and is complemented by impeccable waiting service.
Upon booking, I always check whether the venue is 1) pet friendly and 2) wheelchair-friendly. I specifically asked the hotel staff once booking had been confirmed, to offer us a room which was wheelchair-friendly. Guess what, upon arrival we were handled a key to a room which was accessible by... stairs! While there was a stair lift for wheelchair-bound guests, none of the staff had the key to make it operational. What a shame! We had to wait over 20min for the staff to find an alternative solution. While the receptionist was rather idle is handling the case, one of the restaurant staff stepped up and offered to help. And he did. This souldn't've happened in the first place, though. Also, while the hotel claims to be pet friendly, the same receptionist, next morning, chased us away from our much needed breakfast informing that pets are forbidden from the dining area. Mind you, this was not the case the evening before where the restaurant staff was ever helpful and catered to all of our needs. This is, then, a story of a wasted potential. Had it not been for the lady who "welcomed" us on arrival and rudely asked us out of the breakfast area, we'd have been happy with the experience.

Its a nice looking hotel with lots of parking.
We were given too rooms which far to hot to sleep in my thermometer registered 40C in the room. There was no air con snd the fans supplied were just rubbish. Opened the patio windows and the room filled up with all sorts if bugs and mosquitoes. We asked for different rooms, hotel acknowledge they were problem rooms but said they didnt have anything else, fully booked. So we found alternative hotel and checked out of Seehotel at which point they said that two suites with air-con had become available due to a sudden cancellation!! Really at 8pm at night, i called BS on that, but their loss as we booked in to another hotel close by that had air con and better rooms for a few Euros more. Avoid this hotel on hot days outside temp was warm 31C that day.

Beautiful hotel, freshly renovated, beautiful view from the window, if you take rooms overlooking the lake. Insects can fly into the room due to the water. The breakfast is delicious. The parking lot is big.

Location, the lake is stunning
The toilet was separate from the shower and there wasnt even a sink in it to wash my hands before I can open the door to get out from the toilet. A sink in the toilet for hand wash is a very basic hygiene thing, and it is unpleasant to use the toilet when you know you have to use your hands for you know what and you know for sure the person before you dis not wash hands after the thing and before opening the door. In other words it is a nightmare for a germaphobic person who is super afraid of bacteria. I ended up going to the toilet with wet wipes in pocket. This issue should be addressed. It is 100% a design problem with the architecture of the place. Can possibly totally ruin someones holiday
