Everything was new and clean, and the breakfast was very good. Parking was very convenient since it was on-site and free.
We didn't realize there was an annex, and we ended up in it. There was one door which opened into 2 rooms. It was a little disconcerting because we were always afraid someone would be coming in to stay in the 2nd room.

The location
The building was very old and poorly maintained. Broken lamps, bulbs, problem with the sink in both of the rooms we occupied. Overall, House 2 is more like a hostel than 3-star hotel. Very bad!

Position directly on lake. Restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast was tasty (yoghurt, fruit, different types of tasty bread, msslie, great vitamin juices, eggs, salami,....) Our room was very, very spacious and the bathroom too. We were three in something like an appartment for six in the white and blue building with restaurant (there are 3 buildings). Overall we would raccomend it.

The location was fantastic being close to the water and lots of restaurants
The rooms need a fan or air conditioner especially during the hot summer.

The young man who checked us in was very friendly. Our room was comfortable and roomy. The water they provided was a plus. And the breakfast was wonderful. So many choices.
It was a bit warm. Especially because opening the windows brought in a lot of mosquitoes and some spiders. We had to close them.

The location is solid, right next to the ferries that go to the islands around the lake. The rooms are fine but the beds are very hard.
Parking does exist but the lot right by the hotel is very busy and very very tight. And their overflow lot is nearby but it's not easily explained. Actually the staff overall was very rude and disinterested in trying to help you and seemed put off by any question. They laughed at me when I walked away after asking how the ferries worked. The staff at the restaurant was stand offish and slow. When we tried to figure out their parking lot situation they were very brusque and mostly unhelpful (we had to repark twice due to bad directions). I don't need a staff to be overly helpful but a baseline of polite would be nice. The bed's were also very hard and the room was warm and the numerous bugs nearby made keeping the windows open an issue. Overall the location is great but that's about it. The one staff member who checked us out was actually polite but she seemed to be the exception not the rule.

The localisation is very goog, you can't get closer to ships going to Chimsee Castle, but it was totally out of season and there was no issues with parking. I guess during summer it can get very noisy and crowded there. The room was spacious. Beds comfortable enough. The service in restaurant was very friendly and food was pretty good too - you could get Kasespetzle or some other bavarian meal, although prices were not low. Overall ok.
The hotel has two buildings - on pictures you only see the "premium" part, these lower cost rooms are located in the "budget" building, which is old. Windows and all equipment is just old as well, but clean, so not really an issue. I would assume that during summer it will be very noisy, as this building is just on the corner of main touristic road. Breakfast was decent.
