Location was great for what we wanted. The rooms were adequate and clean. Easy check in and check out.
We booked a ground floor room, because my mother in law recently had a knee operation and climbing stairs would be a problem. However, we received rooms on the first floor. Since the reception is closed after 2 pm and we arrived late in the evening, there was nobody there that we could discuss this with and had to challenge the stairs to get to the room.

Conveniently located, beautiful garden, very nicely decorated breakfast room.
Even though it calls itself a hotel, it feels more like an Airbnb accommodation when you arrive. Reception is not staffed on Saturday afternoons, you only get a code for a key locker.
But the worst is the smell that hits you. It stinks. Fortunately, the foul air didn't move into our room, only into the bathroom.
Breakfast is normal standard. Special requests like a fried egg are unfortunately not fulfilled.
