Nicely situated slightly away from town on a hill, charming old building and the restaurant terrace overlooks green fields. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated in an old-fashioned style, bathroom was modern and big. The staff was friendly. The free parking was big and plenty of spots available.
Spa facilities are not included in the room rate (this was also clearly communicated upfront) which negatively impacts the price/value ratio of the room rate. We were attending a wedding in the area and needed to check in early to get ready - it was only possible to check in 30 min before the official time, so keep this in mind for your planning.

despite the central location close to the highway it was quiet and clean
the breakfast got served per person and no buffet selection was available. only filter coffee available. not what I would prefer

Easy to get too, ample parking, friendly staff, great food, clean rooms, breakfast included, free water, fair price and a nice location, with playground and a restaurant. I did not need an elevator, but some ppl may need that. My bed had a really squeaky mattress. Didn't sleep well, but the sleep sheep sweets were a cute touch There would have been a sauna too, but it was a warm day, did not try out. Came here for an event at Kuhrettung Rhein Berg and would certainly stay here again. Way into Cologne seems easy too.
Mattress, everything else was more than fair for what I paid.

The location is perfect as it is close to the motorway which after a full day's driving is very convenient. The added plus of this hotel is a good restaurant and being able to have an early breakfast for the onward journey. I've been coming to this place for 15 years and have never been disappointed. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. A perfect stopover place.

Excellent stop over hotel within minutes of the motorway. Staff were very good and the restaurant for both an evening meal and breakfast was very good. Comfortable room, good parking, good value.
Slightly noisy but if you want a just off the motorway location its worth it
