The location and cleanness was great, you can go to the beach in 3 minutes which is great in the sellin area
We payed extra 13 euro per person city tour ticket which they didnt told us about it first day, if you go by car its compeletly useless.
Also room doesnt have air conditioning at all! In summer you need at least a fan in the room. Also room doesnt have any facility like kettle or tea, coffee, etc.

The location was perfect, at the top of the hill, away from the main strip and arguably the most beautiful hotel in the area. There were lots of great walking trails from there, boat trips and a steam railway, all nearby. The hotel is quiet, newly renovated and very clean, yet retains some of the old charm, with excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, changing slightly every day and using local ingredients, specifically the diary, which was very good. There was also always a tasty vegan option, as well as fish, cheese and meats. The staff were extremely friendly, professional and accommodating to our every need. We dined in one night and the food was great. We also booked a time slot in the sauna, which was very nice. The bathroom in the room was big and spacious. The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and did a great job cleaning the room each day, leaving it in a really welcoming way. This hotel certainly has a family-run warmth to it, which runs through all the staff and attention to detail within the hotel, yet remains extremely discrete and professional on a service level. Would highly recommend.
We ended up getting the cheapest room on offer and I think next time I would opt for a different one. These were located on the top floor, with lower ceilings and not much air flow. We went in June, so i can only imagine the rooms get hotter and with less air in the peak of summer. I would certainly recommend the hotel but as mentioned would recommend spending a little more on a bigger room. As an avid tea-drinker, I also missed having a kettle in the room.

Parking far away in the woods, booked room with sea view was not. Instead, a room with small bay windows, a fixed mosquito net and a view of the opposite hotel. The reality was different from the booking.com documents.

The breakfast was delightful - especially the
cheerful staff. Amazing massage. Front desk staff
friendly and informative. The location
is not necessarily quiet. In the middle of a busy seaside
town. However great to have restaurants in walking distance.
It really depends on what youre looking for.
Not quite the romantic hideaway. Close to the beach
though if youre good on foot (a short steep hike).
The architecture is a bit strange. Why is there no
patio facing the seaside? There would be enough
space. The veranda is in the shade between buildings without a view which
makes it quite chilly in the mornings and late evenings.
The rooms' design is a little generic. Parking is
impractical. The lot is up a steep hill.
However a reduced number of spots (presumably
for higher priced rooms) are right in front of the
spa which makes it awkward.

Everything was perfect. Very friendly members of the staff - we were even escorted to our room and given some useful hints. The room was cosy and very clean. We enjoyed breakfasts - tasty food and attentive service. And last but not least, the location - views at the sea are exquisite and the hotel is a few steps away from the beach and the centre of Sellin.
