Parking was uncomplicated, Junior suite was large and enough, with a sofa and a bench seat. Spare electrical sockets were available (even 2x USB-A beside the beds). The bed was comfortable with a choice of 2 pillows, a sleeper and a sit up pillow. Bedside lighting was excellent. I found the breakfast good.
At night the room lighting was not bright, The shower was the weak point of the room, it was poorly lit, there was no splash protection for the shower. Luckily you don't have to spend much time in there. Also take your own cotton buds etc., as there weren't any there.

Room itself has everything you need for short stay but I wouldn't say it is cozy, more on the practical side. However beds are extremely comfy, rooms are quiet and breakfast is really good. Complimentary tea and coffee is a nice touch. We stayed in several Melia hotels but this one I have to say its average compering to the rest hotels from this group.
Check in is at 3pm which we were aware of and when we arrived room weren't ready. It wasn't a problem for us as we could wait 30 min in lobby. When 3pm passed front office staff was trying to avoid any eye contact and of course we understood room wasnt still ready. It was only 10 min but it would be much better if they could simply approach us themselves to explain the situation. Afternoon nap after long journey wasn't possible due to some repairs with drill which i understand as some works need to be done but again it would be nice if front office could inform us before hand that some maintenance works are carried out right now. In the evening smell from the bathroom was awful, it was like old water staying in the pipes for ages, when taking shower smell really wasn't bareable and we tried to take shower as quick as we could. Surprisingly in early morning it was almost gone.

Very nice welcome by the receptionist. Great breakfast, good choice and nicely laid out. Fried eggs and bacon were very tasty and fresh. Superb location for people staying with dogs - park just behind hotel. Loads of parking spaces in front of hotel.
Pillows were lumpy and old. Beds didnt stay together.

Average sortiment for breakfast, they didn't add eggs, for example or other stuff, when they ran out, or there was a long wait... parking was chaotic as the entrance rump was not working properly In our room we could sme strange smell like from sewage. In the room there in no space to put your clothes, apaer from small hanger.
