Wonderful
Rooms were comfortable, staff were diligent and helpful. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet was a great spread, set us up for a great day. The best part was the great location, right next to the entrance to old town. Very convenient location.
The rooms were a touch on the small side.
Getting large suitcases from the street to the lobby was a challenge.

Very good value. Very good location - 10 min walk to the castle. Available private and enclosed parking. Very clean. Helpful reception staff.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room had a slightly quirky layout, being up in the eaves on the top floor, but it actually added a bit of character and worked well. It was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly peaceful, especially considering how close it is to a tram stop.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, and all the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful throughout. Would happily stay again.
No negatives at all.

We loved the TIPTOP Hotel Burgschmiet Garni in Nuremberg. It is family run and everyone is very pleasant and willing to assist travellers in any way they can. The rooms are comfortable with all the amenities.The breakfast is absolutely outstanding and replenished frequently with such a variety of tasty offerings. The hotel is perfectly located, within easy walking distance of the old town and a short tram ride away from other sights. We would happily stay here again.

Everything! Matt at the front desk went above and beyond to help us out. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing-too many choices. Highly recommended!

The hotel was right next to the old town just across the road and through the gate to a castle. It has private parking. It's in a safe and lovely residential area. The windows had insect grids you could pull down and so leave the windows open for fresh air. Also shutters on the outside.
No air con. I couldn't have coped in summer heat without it. Continental hotels should get kettles.

Hotel was lovely and the breakfast looked great but we didn't try any as we chose to not include this in our booking. Excellent location, a few steps away from the tram stop and a few minutes walk into the Old Town. Only slight downside was the female receptionist who was rude at times and not customer friendly but other than that would recommend a stay here.
