Hotel was across the street from the old town. Walked to the christmas market every evening. Plenty of restaurants and shopping very close. Parking on site for a fee. Great breakfast buffet. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Very friendly and supportive staff, great location in close proximity to the castle, and a special ambience. The value for money was great for the room as well as the breakfast. Easy parking and a quiet environment top off a great stay.

This place was a delight. The hotel is walkable to the old walled city of Nurburg. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We only stayed one night here because we were visiting various Christmas markets. If I have the opportunity to visit Nurburg again; I will unquestionable be staying here again.

The location is great, close to the Christmas market. The staff is friendly, introduce the whole city to us. The breakfast is very good, lots of food to choose from.

The hotel is in a really good location. Within walking distance to everything. The room was quaint and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast served was great!

My wife and I agreed that weve never been to a hotel that has got so many things right! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (including switching us without quibbling to a room at the back of the hotel after we found our initial room at the front too loud with road noise), everything was clean and felt very modern, the room was very well furnished and had everything we needed, including things as simple as having enough hooks for hanging coats in the main room, and washbags and towels in the bathroom something which many hotels seem to overlook. The bed was very large and comfortable and had a memory foam mattress (we think), there were plenty of other comfortable chairs in the room, the TV was large and modern, and the WiFi speed was great. The highlight was the breakfast which was incredible! There was so much choice, from both local specialities, German specialities as well as continental staples. Everything tasted very fresh and was constantly renewed as things ran out. Oh and there were even free freshly-cooked cookies on the reception desk every day, as well as free Glhwein in a heated urn! Honestly, this was one of the best hotels weve stayed in, and we must have stayed in dozens over the years!
The only thing we didnt like was that our first room, which was at the front of the hotel, was quite loud with noise from the nearby road / tramline. Even though it was December, we wanted to sleep with the window open but then the noise disturbed us, even with earplugs in but then Im quite sensitive to noise when sleeping. The staff at reception were very happy to swap us to another room for our 2nd and 3rd nights at the back of the hotel which was considerably quieter and we slept better as a result. This second room was actually much larger but we werent charged more which was kind.

The staff were friendly. The location was great. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was delicious with many options.
The second bed in the room was very hard. The two guests who slept on it did but sleep well.

Bathrooms are lovely and clean. BREAKFAST is outstanding and good value. Staff all smile and are freindly. Very nice feel to the hotel. Location was brilliant only a small walk to the old town and castle. Christmas markets are very close.
No tea and coffee provided in in the room. The pillows could be better. The TV was hotel locked so we could not access subtitles or adjust volume a little.

Together with my boyfriend, we really enjoyed our short stay in this lovely hotel.
It's a bit old style, but in the good way! Clean, comfortable (best bed!!), with an outstanding breakfast full of tasty options and mulled wine to welcome you on arrival.
Also the location is perfect, you can walk around Nuremberg and reach any main attraction in max 30 mins.
It's not cheap, but, considering the prices in the city it's worth it.
Totally recommended!
My only suggestion would be a kettle with coffee and tea in the room.

Perfect location for walking to the center, very quiet place in the city center. Parking in the hotel car park with slight restrictions on big size of the car. Perfect breakfast, huge selection of everything you can think of. Nice service, everything is fine. Mini bar on the room.
Except for the small parking spaces, everything is fine.
