Exceptional
It was nicely located very close to the christkindlemarkets, very clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the staff woderfully helpful, efficient and nice. And, the price was quite reasonable for all this.
It could be a little noisy in the early morning, but nothing unbearable.

I appreciated the excellent position of the property, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the entire place, and the fact that the beds were really comfortable.
The breakfast was generally okay, though some of the products did not seem to be of the highest quality. The building is well positioned, which made it convenient for getting around. However, being right next to a church meant occasional bell sounds even later in the evening. Overall, the place is clean and nicely maintained, but it does have a somewhat old-school atmosphere that can feel a bit eerie at times.

The restaurant at the hotel is very good. The rooms are clean and the hotel is centrally located. The breakfast is also very good.

In this 125 year old hotel, the main restaurant is full of German character. Interestingly my little solo room was quite simple and stark - but it certainly did the job. This hotel is a great location for exploring the old city (and just a 10-15 walk to main train station). Breakfast in the morning room one floor up was splendid. Staff were very helpful, selling me a Metrotrain/bus pass at my request.
