My son is allergic to eggs. We informed the staff and asked specifically about a chocolate mousse at the breakfast table. We were told it did not contain eggs. It did. We had asked twice just to make sure. Our son had a serious allergy reaction and threw up several times on our way back to the room. His throat started swelling up and he had trouble breathing before we could give him the allergy medicine. I have contacted the hotel and also Accor hotel chain but they don’t take it seriously. They offered us a very small discount on our next stay, like we would ever stay there again. A small discount for serving an allergic 10-year old boy food that could kill him. We told the staff at the hotel about what happened, but the staff in the reception only smiled and said ”sorry”. No one took it seriously. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. They couldn’t care less about their guests.

The location was very close to the train station and easy to access old town. The rooms were a comfortable size, and staff were mostly friendly. The rooms and building are modern and clean, and everything felt comfortable.
Not a big issues but additional coffee in the rooms would be nice, and pillows are very thin. In fairness we've experienced thin pillows all across Germany, and it may be the normal there?

Great room, good sound isolation, overlooking railway line so no traffic noise.
Air conditioning was efficient but quiet. Friendly staff. Really useful location.
WiFi was a bit flaky; also quite busy in the lobby areas and around the lifts.
Pool was quite small and lots of kids in there so hard to swim. Would have been nice to have bath robes provided in the rooms.

Disappointing
The two people at reception. Jonos and collegue were very welcoming.
The reservations department is really the worst customer service department i have ever encountered in my 30 years traveling. Normally the breakfast is really good but also here massive disappointment. The kids normally love what they offer. But it wasnt busy and that meant very little choice no fresh eggs etc.
