The location was great, public transportation was easily accessible (a minute walk to tram, around ten minutes to central station, a few minutes away from central bus station). The staff were really kind as well and answered all questions I had. I didn’t mention it was my birthday, but the receptionist wished me a happy birthday when she saw it was my birthday. There were games to play in the lobby, in case you get bored during the wait. We also had a nice view from our room on the fifth floor. Facilities, size of room, and amenities were nice as well. They provided several towels of various sizes, which I appreciated.
The tea kettle worked, but was partially broken at the top. The coffee maker also gave us some issues, but it was not a problem in the end. We stayed on the weekend and were a bit disappointed that the hotel restaurant is not open on the weekends, but it was okay. Air conditioning was weaker, but it worked and we were satisfied with it. There were only smaller issues that we were able to deal with and we didn’t really see as big problems.

The NH Collection Nürnberg City is a beautiful hotel located a couple of blocks away from the Main Central Station in Nuremberg, but make no mistake, the hotel is not plagued by homeless people like others you see everywhere near train stations; it is in a great and safe area surrounded by many more hotels you can walk to the old city from here.
Well-appointed rooms and a great cleaning staff make the facility a nice place for your vacation.
The breakfast was great, and it had many other options that you could choose from at no extra cost.
The greatest asset this hotel has is its staff.
Since the moment we got there, we felt very welcomed by the people at the front desk. A smile makes a difference. The young gentleman who checked us in, I forgot to get his name, a blonde one, was very helpful, also I have to commend Svenja Potzl who was very helpful to us during our stay, she went from giving us directions on how to navigate the city to recommending a good Italian restaurant and ordering a taxi for us.
Thanks to the people on its staff, we felt like going home each time we went back to the hotel.
