Good location near the old town, nice breakfast.
The area felt unsafe, especially in the evening – many suspicious people around, not comfortable to walk outside at night.
The room clearly needs renovation.
Upon arrival, the staff was not very welcoming. We arrived early and waited in the reception area for two hours, but were only allowed to check in exactly at 3 PM, without any flexibility, which felt unfriendly.
There was also an unpleasant payment situation – we were told our card was “blocked for security reasons” and were asked to pay again, even though the amount had already been pre-authorized. This caused unnecessary stress.
The view from the window was very disappointing.

Very Good
Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily (a rarity these days), with fresh towels and coffee pods. Only a short walk to the train station.
The beds are very narrow!

The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The dining area was cozy and welcoming offering a pleasant breakfast experience.
If English breakfast tea was included in the drink options, this would be superb for English visitors & an English news channel on the TV would also be another great improvement.

The breakfast was adequate and had something for everyone.
I had several issues before the stay and the hotel on two occasions "accidentally" charged my card before the booking even though the terms were no pre payment necessary.
