The hotel is just across the street from the train station in the old town. We used Nuremberg as the base to several small romantic road towns. It was extremely convenient for us to be near the train station.
Hotel Victoria offers the most luxurious breakfast. Coffee is served in a silver pot with hot milk on the side. Eggs are cooked to your individual order. I highly recommend hotel Victoria to anyone visiting Nuremberg.

The location is very convenient for reaching the Old Town, the main railway station and the museums - all within walking distance. For farther destinations (like the Olympic Village or the English Garden) buses and tram stops are close and easy to use. The staff at the hotel was very helpful.
Although the room itself was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom/toilet was Lilliputian.
In line with accommodations in general in Munich, the price was rather steep.

Location is great- very short walk from train station, but immediately into very nice area of Old Town. Extra nice and helpful staff, including at breakfast. Lots of nearby restaurants. Room basic but comfortable. Nice breakfast.
Bathtub is slippery and a little hazardous getting out of. If your windows face the next door modern museum, teenagers use the square below your window to hang out at night and can be noisy

View out of our window (room 452, directly across from elevator, which is handy, and we heard NO elevator noise in the room) was of the tower. You feel as if you could almost touch it, it is that close. Especially nice lit up at night. Room was very quiet with no street noise at all. Air-conditioning also very quiet and effective. Comfy bed and pillows. Many varied lighting options. Fantastic breakfast. We asked for a kettle in our room and were set up with a lovely tray with cups for tea. Nice location at edge of old town, you can walk to everything rather quickly and easily. Parking garage is spacious and close, underground & secure.
Low, awkward angled ceiling near window/bedside in this corner room. Just watch you don't bonk your head. *Note: this is more than made up for with the view & cozy desk nook.
It is tricky to drive in, note that you WILL drive through "pedestrian zones" and don't panic.
